World Premiere Recording of Luís Tinoco's ‘The Delirium of My Desire’
15 November 2018Ana Maria Ribeiro (flute), with Isolda Crespi Rubio (piano), presents a delightful program with music for solo flute from Portuguese contemporary composers - Luís Tinoco, António J L Ribeiro and Alexandre Delgado - and with masterpieces of late and post-romantic music for flute and piano such as the Troisième Sonate pour Flute et Piano by Philippe Gaubert, Sinfonische Kanzone by Sigfrid Karg-Elert, the beautiful Meditation de Thaïs by Massenet and a outstanding performance of Samazeuilh's arrangement of Debussy's marvellous Prélude à l'Après-midi d'un Faune. Luís Tinoco's The Delirium of My Desire and António J L Ribeiro's Monte Pacato have their world première recording in this CD.
To hear The Delirium of My Desire for yourselves, this CD can be purchased at the Artway Online Store, here.
