Danny Driver Performs Thomas Simaku’s Catena IV
14 November 2025
This 20-minute solo work forms part of Simaku’s Catena cycle and showcases his distinctive approach to colour, texture, and structural flow. Highlights include the contrasting tributes Hommage à Chopin and Hommage à Ligeti, alongside the vivid encounter Ligeti meets Chopin, where their musical worlds intertwine across the piano’s registers.
