A New Work by Sadie Harrison on Duo Tutti’s Forthcoming CD Release
20 November 2025
DUO TUTTI was formed by Alex and flautist Ruth Mollins in 2022. About the partnership they say ‘it stems from a mutual love of both the new and the unjustly neglected in classical repertoire. We believe that classical music can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages, and with all our projects we bring our mixed programmes of familiar, contemporary and under heralded composers to audiences in both traditional concert environments and in extensive outreach settings.’ More information about this unique duo can be found at www.duotutti.com.
Henry’s Lullaby was written especially for Alex on the birth of his son Henry Mark James Wilson in February 2021. Although the gentle lilt of a lullaby is heard at the beginning, it soon develops into a passionate expression of joy, subsiding towards the end with the return of the rocking movement.
