SADIE HARRISON: INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCES NOVEMBER 2012
2 November 2012
Sadie has formed a creative partnership with several Lithuanian performers and ensembles over the past 8 years, resulting in nine substantial works to date. She is currently working on a new piano concerto for Sergej. This is a music of concise forms, subtle textures and very direct expression...absorbing and appealing... GRAMOPHONE (Lithuanian works on NMC's An Unexpected Light). Peter Sheppard Skaerved will be performing a selection of movements from The Gallery for solo violin at The Shoe Factory, Nicosia in Cyprus on 27 November. The work, which consists of a series of miniatures, is inspired by Peter's exceptional paintings and drawings.
