Sadie Harrison will be attending the world premiere of her new work in small things remembered... for violin and piano at the Ars Isti Contemporary Music Festival in Kaunas, Lithuania on 7 November 2012. The work, which is based on the music and poetry of Lithuania will be performed by violinist, Rusne Mataityte and pianist, Sergej Okrusko.

2 November 2012Sadie has formed a creative partnership with several Lithuanian performers and ensembles over the past 8 years, resulting in nine substantial works to date. She is currently working on a new piano concerto for Sergej. This is a music of concise forms, subtle textures and very direct expression...absorbing and appealing... GRAMOPHONE (Lithuanian works on NMC's An Unexpected Light). Peter Sheppard Skaerved will be performing a selection of movements from The Gallery for solo violin at The Shoe Factory, Nicosia in Cyprus on 27 November. The work, which consists of a series of miniatures, is inspired by Peter's exceptional paintings and drawings.
