In his lecture, entitled ‘…from 1 to 100…’, Dr Simaku focused on his Basca award-winning work Soliloquy V – Flauto Acerbo, commissioned by Christopher Orton and the BBC Performing Arts Fund, and his Concerto for Orchestra, the winning work of Lutoslawski International Competition 2013, performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.
