UYMP is excited to hear that Thomas Simaku has been featured in the 'MEET THE COMPOSER' segment of the October 2023 issue of BBC Music magazine. The article takes the form of a Q&A in which Simaku talks about the music of his youth, as well as his history as a musician and composer. The article even includes remarks on the Soliloquy cycle and new album with Ensemble intercontemporain, with Simaku revealing that "the idea is to push the bar as far as possible, within reason, to understand what else can be done with these instruments."
