Evis Sammoutis was recently in Cyprus for the activities of the 7th annual Pharos Arts Foundation International Contemporary Music Festival (2 - 11 October), for which he is co-founder and Artistic Director. The event is the leading established festival of its kind in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Invited groups for this year's edition include the Dutch percussion group, Slagwerk den Haag, and Belgian quintet, Het Collectief, in addition to British artists Peter Sheppard Skaerved, Carly Lake, Roderick Chadwick and Robin Green.
In between the festival dates, Evis will travel to Italy where, on October 9th and 10th, his new work Μóρια - Particles for flute, violin and cello will receive its world premiere as part of the 2015 Milano EXPO, by members of the Divertimento Ensemble.
Also on October 11, just a few miles further in Parma, The Neue Vocalsolisten will perform Sammoutis' Sculpting air for five singers, a work written for and dedicated to the group during the 2015 Traiettorie Festival.
