Sadie Harrison - world premieres
1 May 2004One critic wrote that the premiere was 'the high point of the evening... a virtuoso, moving performance... a concerto glittering with the light of exotic cultures' (Muzikos Barai).
Rusne Mataityte will also be giving the world premiere of Songs for Rusne-Seven Lithuanian Folk Songs in the Munich Music Festival, 2005.
Peter Sheppard Skaerved and Phillipa Mo gave the premiere of '..under the circle of the moon..' (Book I) in May 2004. The work was described as 'atmospheric, full of ancient echoes and otherworldy effects' (The Times). Another critic comments on the same work: 'Its seven aphoristic movements explore in masterly fashion a world of half-lights' (Seen & Heard).
