The Swaledale Festival presents the world premiere of David Blake's Ten Gallows Songs on Friday, 7th June at St Andrew's Church, Aysgarth. The songs will be performed by mezzo soprano Patricia Hammond and pianist Graham Coatman. On Thursday 18th July the Lunchtime Concert Series at Ripon Cathedral will feature the premiere of a new work by Sadie Harrison, Shadows: Six Portraits of William Baines for solo piano, performed by Duncan Honeybourne. In the Spring of 2014 Robert Saxton's new song-cycle for baritone and piano, Time and the Seasons will be performed at King's Hall, Ilkely, as part of the Ilkley Concert Club series.
