We are absolutely delighted to announce that Sadie Harrison has been awarded an Arts Council England Grant from the International Development Fund to support her collaborative work with Cuatro Puntos (US) and the Afghanistan National Institute for Music (ANIM).
Sadie Harrison Receives Arts Council England Grant for International Collaboration
25 June 2015The generous grant will fund the completion of a substantial commission for string sextet and youth/amateur ensemble (Gulistan-e Nur: The Rosegarden of Light), will enable her to travel as Composer-in-Residence to the United States in September 2015 for a number of performances, workshops and lectures, and will go towards the production of a CD to include the new work and several related works performed by Cuatro Puntos and students from ANIM.
