On Track isn't the only volume of educational music that UYMP is releasing this Summer. Anthony Gilbert's impressive set of People Pieces contains an accessible, fun and stimulating array of 10 pieces in different characters designed for beginner and intermediate piano students.
Anthony Gilbert's People Pieces
1 May 2006The volume has been written in consultation with the pianist and teacher Kate Dixon, who has edited the book and whose students had a special role by working with Tony and performing all of the pieces in a concert at the EPTA conference in Manchester. The picture on the cover of the volume by 11-year old Anna Aslanova was selected following a design competition for children. The book retails at £7.95 and can be ordered directly from UYMP on 01904 432 434 or by emailing info@uymp.co.uk.
