Description

1. Hegemony

2. Levity

3. Litany (commissioned for ABRSM Spectrum series)

4. Ecstasy

According to one of my dictionaries, catercorny means the condition of being 'cater-cornered' – that is, obliquely in four-way opposition, or in quadruple antinomy.  These brief glances at the human condition are sharply-contrasted reflections on four of its contradictions.  They were written in 2004, hopefully for advanced students to play.
