Anne Boyd House composer

Anne Boyd's music is every bit as spiritual as MacMillan's, Taverner's or Pärt's... there is something impressively cumulative here.

24 Hours (Australia)

[Revelations of a Divine Love] forms a welcome companion piece to her somewhat neglected classic As I Crossed a Bridge of Dreams (1975). Based on the texts of another medieval woman mystic, Julian of Norwich, it combined imaginative and translucent vocal writing (beautifully sung) with effective simplicity.
