Anne Boyd has written a new work, 'Kabarli Meditation (Dawn)', especially for this year's Sydney International Competition, which is now in full flight.

In this composition Boyd acknowledges the Anangu and pays her respects to their elders past and present. The work is proving a very popular choice amongst entrants to the competition and will be played on Monday 9th July and Tuesday 10th July by many of the 20 finalists who make it through to the third round.
